JOURNEY 1: CENTRAL HIGHLANDS OVERLAND EXPERIENCE

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – BUON MA THUOT

– Pick-up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City around 8:00 a.m.

– Travel to Buon Ma Thuot by private car via sections of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail.

– Enjoy scenic countryside views and photo stops along the way.

– Lunch with local dishes at a local restaurant around 1:00 p.m.

– Arrive in Buon Ma Thuot between 4:00–6:00 p.m.

– Check in at a centrally located 3-star hotel.

– Free time to relax or explore Buon Ma Thuot city by night.

– Overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.

DAY 2: DRAY NUR WATERFALL – YOK DON NATIONAL PARK

– Morning transfer to Yok Don National Park.

– Continue by electric car into the forest area, followed by a guided walk.

– Observe semi-wild elephants living in their natural forest habitat.

– This ethical experience focuses on elephant conservation and understanding their natural behavior.

– Note: Elephant activities are usually available on weekdays.

– Visit Yang Lanh Village, where several ethnic minority groups live together in harmony.

DAY 3: LAK LAKE – JUN VILLAGE – COFFEE & PEPPER PLANTATIONS

– Visit Trung Nguyen Coffee Village to learn about Vietnam’s famous coffee culture, including Arabica, Robusta, and Excelsa coffee.

– Visit Ako Dhong Village, a traditional village of the Ede ethnic group with long houses.

– Stop at coffee, pepper, and rubber plantations.

– Visit coffee nurseries to learn about grafted seedlings and cultivation techniques.

– Lunch at a local restaurant.

– In the afternoon, travel to Lak Lake, a volcanic lake formed approximately 11 million years ago.

– Optional activities: dugout canoe ride on the lake or elephant experience (optional services, paid directly).

– Walk around Jun Village to observe daily life and traditional long stilt houses of the M’nong people.

– Return to Buon Ma Thuot in the late afternoon.

– Overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.

DAY 4: BUON MA THUOT – PLEIKU – KON TUM

– Depart Buon Ma Thuot after breakfast.

– Enjoy scenic landscapes of the Central Highlands along the way.

– Lunch en route.

– Visit T’Nung Lake in Pleiku, a volcanic crater lake surrounded by tea plantations and ancient pine trees from the French colonial period.

– Continue to Kon Tum city.

– Visit the Kon Tum Wooden Cathedral, a unique Indochine-style structure.

– Overnight in Kon Tum.

DAY 5: BAHNAR & JARAI VILLAGES – RONG HOUSES

– Stop to visit historical sites such as the Dak To – Tan Canh battlefields.

– Lunch with local dishes along the way.

– Arrive in Hue, Hoi An, or Da Nang around 6:00–7:00 p.m., depending on traffic and destination.

– End of services.
