JOURNEY 7: BUON MA THUOT – PLEIKU – MANG DEN – PLEIKU AIRPORT.OR BUON MA THUOT

DAY 1: BUON MA THUOT – PLEIKU – KON TUM

08:30 – Pick up guests at the meeting point in Buon Ma Thuot city.

Depart along National Highway 14. On the way, the group stops to visit:

– Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Academy – one of the most famous football training centers in Vietnam

– Minh Thanh Pagoda – a beautiful pagoda with unique architecture and peaceful atmosphere

– “Dai Doan Ket” (Great Solidarity) Square – the central square of Pleiku city

12:30 – Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the group continues the journey to Kon Tum. On the way, the group visits:

– T’Nung Lake, also known as the “Sea Lake on the Mountain”, a natural freshwater lake formed by an ancient volcano

– Tea plantations and two long rows of pine trees planted during the French colonial period – arriving here, you may feel as if you are lost somewhere in Europe

– Kon Tum Wooden Church – the largest wooden church in the Central Highlands, built between 1913 and 1918, initiated by a French priest

– Traditional communal water wharf of the Bahnar ethnic people

– Bahnar Rong House – a unique traditional stilt communal house, found only in the Central Highlands of Vietnam

17:00 – Check in and relax at Indochine 3-star Hotel.

18:00 – The vehicle takes the group to dinner.

After dinner, return to the hotel. Guests are free to explore Kon Tum city in the evening and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere along the poetic Dak Bla River under the soft city lights.

DAY 2: KON TUM – MANG DEN

08:30 – After enjoying buffet breakfast at the hotel, the group departs. On the way, visit:

– Kon Tum Bishop’s Palace

– Kon Klo Suspension Bridge

– Kon Chri Village

Arrive at Mang Den crossroads. Stop here to take photos with beautiful wild sim flowers and mua flowers in bright and vibrant colors.

12:00 – Lunch with local specialties: bamboo-tube rice and grilled chicken, typical dishes of Kon Tum.

In the afternoon, continue visiting:

– Our Lady of Mang Den Statue (locally known as “Duc Me Mang Den”), an important spiritual site for local people – a sacred spiritual destination

– Pa Sy Waterfall – one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mang Den

– Khanh Lam Pagoda – a large and tranquil pagoda complex hidden under the primeval forest canopy; the fresh and cool air brings a truly relaxing and peaceful feeling to the soul

17:00 – Check in and rest at the hotel in Mang Den.

18:00 – Vehicle and tour guide take the group to dinner with salmon hotpot, a specialty of the highland region.

After dinner, return to the hotel. Guests are free to enjoy the calm and romantic atmosphere of Mang Den, often referred to as “the second Da Lat of the Central Highlands”.

DAY 3: MANG DEN – PLEICU AIRPORT – OR BUON MA THUOT

08:00 – After check-out, the vehicle and tour guide pick up the group for breakfast with Mang Den’s famous snakehead fish noodle soup.

Continue visiting:

– Kon Pring Village – a peaceful and poetic village highlighted by the misty morning atmosphere

Guests enjoy coffee (personal expense) and admire the pine valley below, covered in early morning mist.

The group then departs for Buon Ma Thuot.

12:30 – Lunch at a local restaurant.

Relax on the vehicle and enjoy the scenery along National Highway 14, one of the most beautiful and smooth roads in the Central Highlands.

From Pleiku, guests may choose one of two convenient options: a direct transfer to Pleiku Airport for onward flights to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, or a return journey to Buon Ma Thuot by road.

Around 18:00 – Arrive back at the original meeting point in Buon Ma Thuot.
