This one-day coffee experience takes you deep into the world of Vietnamese coffee, from lush coffee farms and processing factories to roasting workshops and research gardens. You will discover the stories behind Arabica and Robusta coffee, learn about traditional and modern processing methods, and experience coffee culture through local farmers and experts. Tour Itinerary

Morning

– At 8:30 a.m., our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel or a meeting point in Buon Ma Thuot city.

– Begin the journey by visiting coffee farms, plantations, and small roasting workshops.

– Learn about the history of coffee in Vietnam, especially in the Central Highlands, and gain a clear understanding of the coffee production process—from planting and harvesting to processing and brewing, from the coffee garden to a perfect cup of coffee.

Kien Cuong Civet Coffee Farm.

– Visit Kien Cuong Civet Coffee Farm to discover the legendary Vietnamese civet coffee and its unique brewing techniques.

– Enjoy coffee tasting on site (drinks at your own expense).

Trung Nguyen Coffee Village.

– Explore the three main types of coffee grown in Vietnam: Arabica, Robusta, and Cherry.

– Enjoy coffee drinks in the cozy atmosphere of a traditional Vietnamese wooden house (drinks charged separately).

– Purchase Trung Nguyen coffee products if you wish.

AEROCO Coffee Factory.

– Visit the AEROCO Factory to explore the complete coffee production chain: cultivation – harvesting – processing – roasting – packaging – export.

– Taste various coffee products according to your preferences, and shop for coffee and cocoa products at the showroom.

– Tour a clean and spacious coffee processing facility surrounded by Arabica and Robusta coffee gardens, applying both wet and dry processing methods.

 

Lunch

– Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

 

Afternoon

– Visit a coffee nursery to learn about seed selection, planting, watering, and grafting techniques.

– Explore the experimental Arabica and Robusta coffee gardens of the Ea Kmat Coffee Research Institute, where coffee varieties are tested for high productivity and quality.

– Learn about coffee cultivation, including planting, harvesting, different cherry pulping methods, and intercropping systems where coffee grows alongside pepper, fruit trees, and other crops.

– From October to December, enjoy a coffee harvesting experience with local farmers.

– Return to Buon Ma Thuot city.
